TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING RETREAT ACCOMMODATION
By booking your accommodation with Garden of Eden Retreat, you accept our Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
A minimum two-night stay applies to all bookings.
Maximum number of guests for PEMULWUY HOUSE, four (4) people.
Maximum number of guests FOR GAIA STUDIO, two (2) adults.
A deposit of 50% of the accommodation tariff is required to confirm bookings. No booking is guaranteed until this has been received.
The balance owing (including any additional extras) will be charged to your credit card seven days prior to arrival.
Once the name of a booking is confirmed, the booking cannot be transferred to another party without the consent of Garden of Eden Retreat.
Unless prior permission is given by Management, Guests are not permitted to invite anyone onto the property. This includes family, friends or service providers such as caterers or massage therapists. Guests arriving or re-entering the Retreat with any additional persons will not be permitted to use the Retreat and will forfeit any monies paid.
In the event of damage to fixtures or property loss, we reserve the right to charge the credit card of the person making the booking to cover the cost of repairs or replacement. We also reserve the right to engage a third party to recover funds owing on our behalf.
Daily continental breakfast provisions are provided for all accommodation bookings. Vegetarian, gluten free and halal options are available. Please advise us any dietary requirements when making booking.
The Garden of Eden Retreat has a strict no-smoking policy. No pets are allowed.
Check in is after 3pm. Check out is by 11am.
We accept American Express, JCB, MasterCard and Visa credit cards. The credit card details provided when booking will be held as guarantee of your booking.
DIRECTIONS TO GARDEN OF EDEN
Directions for driving to the Garden Of Eden Australia are provided on the Retreats page, as well as at bottom of each page of the website. You will be able to download this as PDF. It is recommended you download this prior to driving to Garden of Eden Australia, as mobile internet is not available past the Peats Ridge turn off (if driving from Sydney).
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR RETREAT ACCOMMODATION
A fee of $100.00 will apply to any booking where it is either cancelled, or the dates of the booking are amended, over 30 days prior to arrival.
For bookings cancelled between 15-30 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total cost will be charged. A $100 administrative fee will apply in lieu of the 50% charge if your accommodation is re-booked.
For bookings cancelled or dates changed between 0 and 14 days, there will be a 100% charge of the total booking if the accommodation is not re-booked. A $100 administrative fee will apply in lieu of the 100% charge if your accommodation is re-booked.
In the case of a 'no show', 100% of the accommodation tariff will be charged to your credit card.
Booking your accommodation with Garden of Eden Retreat means you accept our terms and conditions and cancellation policy. The credit card details provided when booking will be held as guarantee of your booking.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING YOUR RETREAT
Due to our unique location in the Australian bushland, the Garden of Eden Retreat has a strict no-smoking policy.
Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is by 11am.
Continental breakfast is included in your booking. Vegetarian, gluten free and halal options are available. Please advise us any dietary requirements when making booking, in the ‘comments’ section.
For all other meals, we recommend reviewing our dining packages or organising your own groceries. The Garden of Eden Retreat is a one-hour drive from out-of-house dining options, so we recommend considering your dining requirements when making a booking. We must receive orders for our dining packages at least 7 days prior to your arrival.
The Garden of Eden retreat is set in the wilderness and we are fortunate to have beautiful Australian wildlife at our doorstep. If you plan to explore the property on foot, we advise packing strong, closed-in footwear.
The Garden of Eden Retreat exists in a remote location. While your stay includes free Wi-Fi access, there is no mobile reception on the property.
Directions to the Garden of Eden Retreat will be provided after your booking has been made. Mobile internet access drops out for large portions of the drive to the Garden of Eden Retreat. It is important that you have offline access to these directions before beginning your drive to the property. Free parking is available.
Please be aware that travel to the property requires manoeuvring on unsealed (dirt) road. Due driving caution is recommended when moving on unsealed roads. The unsealed roads are not suitable for lowered vehicles. The roads are two-wheel appropriate, in all weather conditions.
For those who wish to be picked up from Sydney or its surrounding locations for transport to the Garden of Eden, one-way and return travel arrangements can be made through us. Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your travel options.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You will be notified by email once your application has been approved.
Deposit: A 50% deposit (non-refundable) is required within 14 days of your approval to secure your booking. Payments are to be made to the Transference Healing Pty Ltd by direct deposit or credit card. Stripe payments can also be made.
Balance: Payment must be finalised within 28 days of your applications approval. Payments are to be made to Transference Healing Pty Ltd by direct deposit or credit card. Stripe payments can also be made.

Cancellations must occur in writing, and the Transference Healing Pty Ltd reserves the right to process any refund within thirty days of this written notification.
If enrolment within the 14 days that follow your first Academy of Learning session with Alexis Cartwright, the deposit amount of 50% is forfeited by you. Any other payment made by you toward the Mystery School attendance fee is refundable.
If you cancel your enrolment 15 days or more after your first Academy of Learning session with Alexis Cartwright, the entire fee (100%) is forfeited by you. It is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to The Academy of Learning with Alexis Cartwright and Transference Healing Pty Ltd, PO Box 168, Surry Hills, NSW 2010, Australia.
The agreement for you to participate in the Academy of Learning commences when your deposit is received.
Alexis Cartwright will facilitate the Academy of Learning with reasonable care, skill and ability. Apart from that, all warranties and representations are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Due to the nature of the education, Alexis Cartwright cannot and does not guarantee any particular results.
Alexis Cartwright and Transference Healing Pty Ltd reserve the right to change the content of the Academy of Learning at any time, without notice, with the intention to provide more value.
Membership to the Academy of Learning is indefinite, however Alexis Cartwright and Transference Healing Pty Ltd will run the program for at least three years after your enrolment is confirmed, totalling in a minimum of (twelve online sessions).
PROTECTION OF SERVICES
You agree not to reproduce, copy, sell trade, record (video) resell or exploit for any commercial purpose any aspect of the Academy of Learning sessions, or any associated materials.
Audio recordings are permitted for personal use only.
You acknowledge and confirm that all intellectual property and other proprietary rights in materials and online sessions, including without limitation copyright and any rights in designs, are owned by Alexis Cartwright and that you shall not acquire any rights in such materials, use them for any commercial purpose or carry out any action inconsistent with such ownership.
Should you become aware of any actual or threatened infringement by any person of the intellectual property and proprietary rights, you undertake to inform Alexis Cartwright at once in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alexis Cartwright reserves the right to deny or terminate your enrolment in the Academy without financial compensation if the above rules are not adhered to.
You acknowledge that Academy of Learning involves personal and spiritual development, and that the effect of the sessions depends on your own level of engagement and commitment. No specific results can therefore be guaranteed by Alexis Cartwright. Alexis Cartwright accepts no responsibility for any decisions made by you as a result of your registration to the Academy of Learning.
Information provided in the Academy of Learning are of a general nature and should not be relied on, nor is any duty of care being assumed by Alexis Cartwright.
Alexis Cartwright makes no warranty or representations about the accuracy, correctness, completeness, reliability or otherwise of the content or information in its workshops and trainings.
Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any negligent act, omission or representation on the part of Alexis Cartwright) will Alexis Cartwright be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damages resulting from your attendance of its workshops and trainings, or the information taught therein.
You acknowledge that Alexis Cartwright is not qualified medically, or as a psychologist or therapist, and that the Academy of Learning is not intended to be a medical or therapeutic service. You confirm that you are mindful of your own wellbeing and are wholly responsible for taking any medical or therapeutic advice or treatment which is, or may be, to your benefit, without guidance or involvement on Alexis Cartwright’s part.
You undertake to behave professionally, courteously and respectfully in all dealings with the Academy of Learning, any person(s) acting on behalf of it, and any other clients or other third parties to whom you may be introduced in connection with it, to adhere to any programme rules which may be provided from time to time, and not to carry out any action intended or likely to bring Alexis Cartwright or the Academy of Learning into disrepute.
Each of us shall keep confidential all sensitive information relating to the other, and the other members of the group, and not use such information for any purpose other than that for which it was provided. This shall not apply to the extent that any information is required to be disclosed by law or by any court or public body having binding authority to require such disclosure.
We each agree not to engage in any conduct or communications, public or private, intended or likely to disparage the other, (or other participants in the workshops and trainings), or damage their interests.
Alexis Cartwright reserves the right to reschedule Academy of Learning sessions with reasonable notice.
We will not be liable for failure to provide services or perform obligations where it is not reasonably practicable to do so due to acts, events, omissions, accidents or circumstances beyond control.

Alexis Cartwright and Transference Healing Pty Ltd reserve the right to deny or terminate your booking into the Academy of Learning if the rules as detailed above are not adhered to.
You understand the portions of sessions and visits to the Garden of Eden may be videotaped, photographed and recorded for the purpose of being used and distributed in various formats by Alexis Cartwright for educational or advertising purposes, including but not limited to your visitation to the retreat and the internet, and any other communications medium currently existing or later created. You give permission and authorisation for Alexis Cartwright and Transference Healing to videotape, audiotape, photograph, record, edit or otherwise reproduce your image or voice, and to use it in the formats and for the purposes stated above.
